Yes, so it has been brought to my attention that, although "A Hero's Last Stand" is a great piece in itself, there were some elements missing from it that took away from the feel. XayberOptix suggested that, to increase the heroic feel as well as the quality of the sound itself, that I add horns as sort of the midlevel boost.

So, after listening to his shortened version of the song with the horns added, I decided that it was a phenomenal idea, so now I'm remastering the song, adding the horns and something extra to go with the solo in the middle of the song - a pad. Adding to the horns will be a quieter layer of brass, to give more of the feel that was intended.

As it was my song, I will be taking the majority of the credit, but because the horns were XayberOptix's idea, he will also receive credit for this remastering. Also, be on the lookout for his version of the song sometime in the future.

Yep. Today, on January 1, 2011, I finished my newest piece, "A Hero's Last Stand." I consider this to be one of my best works yet, succeeded only by Endless Confrontation (both the original and the redux). You can listen to this bad boy here, my friends!

I hope you enjoy this new piece by me, and keep on rockin'!

P.S.: 2011 might be a busy year for me, so you might have to wait a while for a new song to come out after this.

"With his friends fleeing to safety, the hero takes up his sword, standing for one final battle, one that may very well shape the very future of the world. The enemy he faces is the greatest challenge ever faced by anyone on the planet. With his blade and his strength, will the hero vanquish the evil foe that stands before him, or will he fall, leaving his world to crumble under his cold, dead body?"

Yeah, so I FINALLY got a new idea for a song. The title, as this post references to, is "A Hero's Last Stand." As of right now, it is in the construction stage, getting the notes down and everything. After that will be the effects, compression, and other various things to do to a song. This may very well be second to "Endless Confrontation", which some of you heard nearly a year ago.

This idea formed itself out of nowhere, but eventually took this kind of meaning. A hero standing in the middle of a broken city, facing off against his rival in a battle that may decide the fate of the entire planet. What better basis for a song than that?

Also, I am requesting ideas and story plots to help me with my music. If any of you guys has a suggestion, be sure to leave me some feedback, and I'll respond when I can. Right now, I have to prepare to move to California. I'm going to miss my friends dearly, but what can I do about it?

Peace, and keep up all the good work.

SerenadeOfWater1994 was created by me for the sole purpose of containing my works-in-progress and what not. This idea was inspired by Supersteph54, so yeah. His fault for me doing it. XD

I am back in action!

That's right, I was able to get the FL files transferred to a different computer, and now I'm back!

My computer had recently died during this past summer break, which means no more music coming from me for a while unless we can fix the problem or get my computer replaced and FL9 re-installed.

Yep. My mom is kind of deep in debt, and that caused us to lose access to our router. We have to use a different internet service for now. Along with the satellite and phone, she is down about $500 dollars.

I started ad revenue sharing because I want to help her get out of this hole that she's in, and get us back on track. Not sure if it works with audio or not, but as far as I remember, my audio is part of my page, and my page has ads, so it should work out just fine. Though if I'm wrong, it's worth a try.

I'm not asking if you guys will be kind enough to click the ads and what not, but please give us all the help that we can get.

Thanks.

Yeah, so I decided to change my icon and profile picture. I have decided to call myself (by what I work on in music) Khaotika. Other people may be involved, but for now it's mostly me. Now, I shall keep my same username, so others won't get confused. I'm not even sure if I CAN change my username! Anyways, give me some feedback.

New picture and icon, same name!

Yep, you heard it right, folks! After 2 years of working with FL4, I was finally able to upgrade to the sleeker, more awesome FruityLoops Producer Edition XXL 9!

One of my works was started in FL4, but was continued and eventually finished in FL9. Since 4 is obsolete, I will be using FL9 from now on, until I get a new upgrade, that is. :P

I simply just can't focus on one song at a time. I have at least 13 unfinished songs/remixes on my plate as it is, and I don't think I'm gonna get them all finished within the rest of this year. So, the song "First" is going to be put on a hiatus so I can focus on getting some other songs done. Plus, with school having drained me of my ideas, I need a while to regain some of what I wanted to do.

I will still put out new tracks when I can, so don't lose hope. You'll still hear new tracks from me.

And as a sidenote, Metaljonus, wherever you happen to be at this current moment, I'll miss you, dude. You've got amazing tracks that both inspire me and make me envious. I will keep releasing tracks here and enduring the crap people have given me and may still be giving me. I hope that wherever you're going, you get the respect you deserve. I'll miss seeing new songs from you on NG, but I hope to find you on some other site, where you may be getting the true admiration you earned so long ago.
