I think I heard this one before it came here, but I am SO glad it's here anyway! This remix goes so goddamn hard, and it really gets the blood pumping! I'm kinda hit and miss when it comes to DnB, but you friggin' nailed it here. I got nothing else to say other than this really gets me going!

There's depression and sorrow in this, yes, but like other reviewers, I can sense an underlying hope, or a desire for things to improve in condition, as if you're awaiting the day that things turn around for the better, whilst being forced to endure the suffering you're in. The emotions come out rather well, and as much as it sucks that it's from a place of sorrow, it's a sorrowful beauty that emanates from this piece.

Troisnyx responds:

You know my circumstances well, Shiverwar. I didn't feel the hope when recording this. I suspect that the hope comes from the subconscious. Or another source outside of me. Or both 🤔

Regardless, it is here and trying to tell me something which you also understand about me — that I should indeed await the turning of the tide.

Thank you for your kindness, both on this track and elsewhere. ❤️

I don't have much to say other than, well... Damn. I felt that. I felt the emotions flowing through each note, every key that was played. It's clear where your heart and mind were during these brief two minutes, and it flowed out beautifully, in a percussive symphony of audible sorrow.

Taking into account that this is from 2005, this definitely isn't a bad remix of Bloody Tears at all. Kind of sounds like a variation you'd hear in a DS game or a fanmade Castlevania game. Not bad at all.

Bruh. This is some bomb-ass stuff, mate. It's just intense enough to convey that sense of battle, but not too intense as to overshadow all of the other subtleties going in through the track. Looks like I have some catching up to do.

AceMantra responds:

Hey, thanks! I know you do some great stuff as well. Maybe we should collab sometime.

This may have been uploaded on April 1st, but this certainly ain't a foolish cover. This freakin' rocks, man! I love me some Monster Hunter: World, and while the Rotten Vale certainly is NOT my favorite area (that belongs to the area just before it, the Coral Highlands), I love the atmosphere its theme provides, and your cover makes me think of an epic final battle inside the Vale itself, no end in sight for the hunter's strife.

What else can I say that others haven't? This is friggin' awesome, man! As always, a fantastic piece by you!

Now, I'm not normally a fan of screaming in metal, but I find myself totally fine with it here. In fact, I think the contrast between the melodic singing and primal screaming works quite well here. It's quite the enjoyable duality, for lack of a better word. Y'all did a great job with this!

This... is going to be awful on my end, because I'm actually playing through the reboot. In terms of level design and gameplay, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, in fact the levels are fantastically designed. Too bad the characters and story aren't, though!

That being said, this is fucking epic. I wish I had heard this when it was released! And hey, guess what? Capcom is coming out with a proper Devil May Cry 5, too, soooo... yeah!

Hey, I do stuff on Newgrounds as well as YouTube! Check me out! Name's Shiverwar on YouTube! Formerly SSJ3-Goku4567.
